The primary purpose of the New Life Apostolic Church of Jesus, Inc.’s Missionary Department is to serve and demonstrate the Lord’s commission, by going out and praying for the sick, and reaching out to the lost. The Missionary Department is an organized effort to spread the Gospel to new believers. The missions involve sending out missionaries across boundaries, to carry on evangelism or other activities, such as educational work or hospital visitations. In addition, the missionaries have the authority to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Mission Statement
The Missionary Department of the New Life Apostolic Church of Jesus, Inc. exists for the purpose of aiding the church as an organism to perpetuate the doings of the saints. In the beginning the Missionary Department was established to make an opportunity for women missionaries to be helpers together with the ministers and pastors in bringing souls to Christ, and comfort to those in need.
Vision Statement
The vision of the New Life Apostolic Church of Jesus, Inc.’s Missionary Department is to collectively work as a team in serving the ministry by making a difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate: the needy, the sick, the blind, the neglected, the forgotten, and the lost through planned outreach ministries.
Missionary Duties
- Missionaries are to go into the community to teach about Jesus Christ and the Christian faith. Missionary work will depend on where the individual or group of missionaries are assigned to go. At the very least, a missionary’s first responsibility is to God, then to his or her church or missions as assigned.
- A missionary may perform his or her work through formal teaching in a classroom or religious setting. Many missionaries perform acts of community building.
- The most important duty of missionaries is to teach people about Jesus Christ, and His great commandment to love God and to love others. This means ensuring that their actions not only fulfill a need but also are sustained after they have left the community.
Women's Ministry
Whether it’s the rigors of motherhood, issues of equality, or severe forms of oppression, women face a unique set of challenges in almost every culture on earth. Yet, it has been said that Jesus did more to elevate the status of women than any other figure in history.
That’s why our missionaries are making sure women all over the world understand their value in the eyes of their Heavenly Father. From leading women’s Bible studies, to discipling pastors’ wives, to empowering at-risk women to escape abuse, every ministry seeks to ensure women to know God’s love and become contributing members of His church.
USE YOUR PASSION FOR WOMEN’S MINISTRY ON THE MISSION FIELD
Nearly every field we serve needs Godly women and men to come alongside women who are lost, abused, or marginalized and help them see that God has a redemptive plan for their lives. Our Women’s Department uses a variety of ministries to reach women, including through our Benevolence and Care Ministry.
