Operation Mortgage Payoff
New Life Apostolic Church of Jesus, Inc. is indeed a church that is blessed and highly favored by the Lord. On December 15, 2024, we will joyfully observe the 28th Anniversary of our founding under the leadership of Apostle Dr. Alex L. Jenkins and Dr. Latrina W. Jenkins. This milestone marks a continuation of the pioneering efforts of Mother Theresa Wilks, who established the Apostolic Church of Jesus, Inc. in South Florida in 1969.
The ministry began at 2140 NW 2nd Street, Pompano Beach, Florida, as a testament to Mother Wilks’ hard work and labor. Her commitment and dedication laid a solid foundation for the establishment of this great church. As a result of the faithfulness of our leaders and members, the Lord rewarded New Life Apostolic Church of Jesus, Inc. with a new location to continue its ministry objectives, which include changing lives for Jesus Christ.
Our new location is considered a reward and inheritance from the Lord. For more details, please visit the Church’s History Page on our website. However, like many blessings, maintaining what the Lord has entrusted to us requires effort and dedication. We are grateful for our new location and the opportunities it presents.
“It’s amazing how much the Lord has chosen to bless us in 28 years,” said Apostle Dr. Alex L. Jenkins, who reestablished the church with his wife, Dr. Latrina W. Jenkins, on December 15, 1996. “We’ve grown and lives have been transformed.”
The New Life Apostolic Church of Jesus, Inc. invites you to be a part of The Operation Mortgage Payoff. Our Apostle is challenging the church, with the Lord’s help, to retire the debt on this inherited blessing. The $494,755.02 payoff will propel our ministry to do greater works for the Kingdom.
We believe that with the Lord’s blessing, we will achieve this goal by the year 2030. At that time, we will have a mortgage burning ceremony, a special service giving all the glory to the Lord for His blessings, especially during these tough economic times that so many people are experiencing.
“This celebration will not just be for us; it will be for all the people and churches who have helped and supported us through the years,” Apostle Jenkins remarked.
As we embark on this journey, we are reminded of the scripture from the King James Version that reflects our faith and hope: “For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills; A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey; A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it…” (Deuteronomy 8:7-9).
